Pat Hitchcock

Oil painting workshops including Grisalle painting.

Pat Hitchcock is a Florida based artist who has graduated in the wet on wet oil painting technique from the Bob Ross Art School in the USA.

Pat has taught for many years in the USA, has also taught in Taiwan and is now being hosted by NZ Art Schools for her first visit down under.

These series of one day workshops will cater for everyone from the outright beginner to those who are experienced artists.

Pat’s pleasing manner and teaching ability will ensure that those attending leave at the end of the day with a great oil painting that they will be proud to take home.

One of the advantages for those attending is that Pat will provide everything, including professionally mounted canvas, oil paints, use of brushes and all equipment.

Thus come along with nothing but your lunch and go home with a painting. The grisaille paintings are first completed in tonal shades of acrylic paint from white through grey to black. This dries quickly and this “underpainting” is then covered with oil paint.

You can pay by a series of post dated cheques and if you attend 3 or more days we shall give you an attractive photo album which holds 200 photos..
