Malcolm Sime, who paints on TV One’s ‘Good Morning Show’ is available to lead painting workshops or to conduct demonstrations and if required, become a guest speaker.
A wide range of options is available with participants painting from anywhere between 90 minutes, up to all day events which can run for 7 hours, allowing a break for lunch.
Malcolm provides professionally mounted canvases, all the paints, brushes and equipment and is able to hold these classes in his own Lower Hutt studio/classroom, or anywhere in New Zealand or internationally.
Each participant completes their own painting 100% by themselves. For each individual, this proves to be a great builder of self esteem and confidence, as each look at their finished work.
Possibly unbeknown to each participant at the time, is that they have created what may well be their first family heirloom. Present and future generations will always admire this with pride.
For most, the only difficulty is convincing their family and friends, ‘I have painted this 100% by myself and the teacher did not touch my painting at all.’
For conferences, those participating are amazed at the fun and bonding that can occur as each person discovers, ‘Yes, I am amazed. I can paint. I’ve finished that painting all by myself.’
We are able to provide a painting programme for delegates or partners to fit into whatever time slot may be required. Our recommendation is to use acrylic paints as these will dry the same day and makes it easier for participants to take home. However, if participants want to paint in oils, then they can do this. Regardless, all are guaranteed a fun experience with lots of laughs.
Within Malcolm’s working career, he has spoken and made presentations to large conferences, both within NZ and overseas. As a result he has ‘been there, done that’ and knows what is required and how to deliver an amazing experience for all.
Malcolm can also paint a picture of your choice at a Conference Dinner and this can either be presented to the guest of honour, or a sponsor. Alternatively it can be raffled or auctioned off with the proceeds going to a charity.
